If they are absolutely necessary, beef them up with more unique content – if they’re not, get rid of them. It’s crazy to see the disparity between two pieces of content that we all create on a regular basis. If you have been creating content on your website for years and post frequently, then you might have a website that is a target for this tactic because you have so much content. The more higher quality, relevant websites pointing at your site, the better chances of moving up Google’s ranking ladder. Many people make the mistake of constantly stuffing the same keywords all over a piece of content in order to attract the spiders. If it notices the same keyword used over-and over, the spider will just crawl on by, looking for other, better content related to the same keyword that they can rank. A keyword is better displayed every 70-100 words.

Follow a consistent cadence towards page impressions

301 links are permanent and tell Google that page B has replaced page A. 302 redirects are temporary. Even if you never change them, you’re telling Google that you intend to change them. How does a new website start ranking? Does it just magically appear in Google after you’ve launched it? What things do you have to do to start ranking in Google and get traffic from the search engines? You should also consider trying to rank for low-volume keywords that match your product perfectly. These are often long-tail keywords, which are short phrases. In the past, some people tried to make their pages extra-relevant by using the keywords for which they want to get high rankings over and over again in their internal links. The idea was that a web page must be very relevant to a keyword if many other pages of the website link to that page with that keyword. Search engines, such as Google, evaluate the linking of a websites and usually use the contents of the link texts as a ranking criteria.
